My name is Dallas Owens, I'm a Preschool Teacher at Cobb County Headstart.  Since 2013 I developed the opinion that: it is the responsibility of preschool teachers every to lay a foundation for young children to develop into mature children, teenagers, to adults, and laying a foundation begins with us.  Frequently, I'm told and asked, "You must have a lot of patience. How do you do it?"  I reply with this, "Patience has nothing to do with it, I believe that I understand that children want to learn how to know things.  I'm here to help them develop their understanding of what they want to know."  

So now I'm in a position that will give the children an opportunity to learn and grow into productive members of society, which will benefit us all.
